A place for the month, the night, or the day.
Houses to rent. Furnished places to stay. Halls for a wedding or a burial. Every one checked, every room photographed, a pin to the gate — and nobody knows you're looking.
Molyko · Buea
One room. Then the whole compound.
See the house before you see the house.
Every room, properly photographed. The light at midday. The kitchen you'll actually cook in. The compound at dusk. You'll know how a place feels before you spend a franc on transport.
House-hunting shouldn't cost you a season of your life.
In Buea and Limbe, finding a place is a second job. Nkwata gives you those weeks back.

Looking for a house shouldn't mean announcing it to strangers.
Post in a group of two thousand people and you've just told the whole city three things: you're moving, you have money ready, and here is your phone number. That is exactly the advertisement a fake agent is waiting for.
Your number stays yours
It is never posted, never shared, never sold. No landlord and no agent can reach you. You call them — never the reverse.
Nobody sees you looking
Your search, your budget, your saved houses — all private. Not visible to landlords, not visible to other seekers, not announced to any group.
You approach checked people
Every landlord is verified before their house appears, and you see the level on every listing. No stranger sliding into your messages.
"I have 300,000 FCFA and I'm moving next week. Call me on 6XX XXX XXX."
That is what a post in a public group actually says. Nkwata exists so you never have to say it — you look quietly, you decide privately, and you make the first move yourself.
Three steps. That's the whole product.
Search quietly
Filter by quarter, price, rooms, and what the house must have. No account. No phone number. Nobody knows you're looking.
Step inside
Walk every room from your phone — the light, the kitchen, the bathroom, the compound. Watch the video. Know how it feels before you go.
Unlock and walk to the gate
500 FCFA by MoMo gets you the landlord's number and the exact pin. Tap it — your map takes you to the door. You made the first move, on your terms.
On Nkwata today
What can you actually afford?
Most people overspend on rent and feel it every month. And on this coast the law caps caution at three months while the market asks for two months caution plus six to twelve months of rent in advance — so the real question is never the rent. It is the cash you need on day one.
Rent budget check
A safe rule: rent sits near a quarter of what you earn — never past a third.
A guide to the quarters
Water pressure, transport, noise, night security — and in Kumba, which quarters flood. The things nobody writes down. We do, quarter by quarter, across three hundred and eight of them.
I saw every room before I left my house.Brenda N. — moved into Nkwen in three days
An empty house is not "waiting". It's bleeding.
Every week your house sits empty is rent you will never get back. It isn't delayed — it's gone. See what yours has already cost you.
What is your empty house costing you?
Be honest about the weeks. It's usually worse than people admit.

Questions people actually ask
Step inside. Quietly.
Free to look, private by default, and a pin that takes you to the door.
Houses you kept.
Saved on this phone only. No landlord can see this list, and neither can we.
Be told first.
Good houses go within days here. Save a search and new matches are flagged the moment they appear.
The coast, quarter by quarter.
Nobody writes this down — so people move into a quarter and discover the water problem in month two. These guides exist so that never happens to you.
It takes about five minutes.
Seekers see how far each landlord has been checked. The higher you go, the more calls you get — that's not a threat, it's just how trust works.
A human checks every house · usually within a day
One switch. That's the whole job.
Taken? Flip it off — the house leaves search and billing pauses the same day. Free again in three months? Flip it back on and we re-check it before it returns.
What came in, who is late, what is broken.
Not at month end. Now, wherever you are. If you own a house on this coast and live in Houston or Douala or Dubai, this page is the whole reason to put it on Nkwata.
Hand us one and see.
List a house free while we are opening your town. If you want us to run it as well — tenants found, rent collected, repairs handled — the fee is a number on this page, not a conversation on a phone call.
You are not on display here.
Your search, your budget, your saved houses and your phone number are private. Landlords cannot browse seekers. Nobody can contact you. You choose who to call — and only after you've unlocked a house yourself. That is the opposite of posting in a public group, and it is deliberate.
Every listing shows how far it was checked.
Most real landlords in Cameroon have no land title — the land is untitled. Demanding papers from everyone would shut honest people out. So we check what we can, and show you the level. Honestly.
A house never moves. So its pin is locked.
Once approved, nobody can quietly change a listing's location or swap its photos to pass off a different house. Change the photos or the type and it goes back for re-checking. Every edit is logged. A listing whose details keep churning gets flagged to a human. That is how we kill bait-and-switch — and why a new location always means a new, separately-paid listing.
Where your own care still matters
Nkwata is a noticeboard, not an agent. We check to a real standard — but we cannot guarantee any house, price, or person. So:
Visit the house. Confirm the landlord and their right to rent it. Never pay a deposit before you have stood inside.
And the part worth remembering: once you deal directly with a landlord — and certainly once you move in — that agreement and that house are between you and the landlord, and are no longer under Nkwata's care. If something looks wrong, report it and we act.
What people say.
